To celebrate our 20th anniversary, Eater assembled our dream roster of the most interesting people from across the food world for our version of the ultimate dinner party.
The meal served, however, consisted entirely of trompe l’oeil pieces—foods like a 3 1/2 foot tall seafood tower, stacks of ceramic cheese, and porcelain fish. These pieces from local and international artists were styled amidst copious amounts of produce, fresh seafood, nuts and foliage to round out the tablescape. The color story resulting in the final images is vibrant, punchy, flavorful, and bolstered by Eater’s core brand color.
