For this immersive multi-feature service package, my team took to the Chesapeake Bay to produce a photoshoot that would resonate with locals that cherish this coveted summertime tradition, and prove to be accessible to those entertaining for the first time. Baltimore-based photographer and stylist Justin Tsucalas and Guilietta Pina set the scene for a no-frills family picnic complete with food and hard props sourced locally, including the Smith Island Cake, Maryland’s state dessert. We worked with local watermen on-set, taking models step-by-step through the process of picking crabs.
